Our Commitment to Honduras

On-the-Ground Impact: Building Stronger Communities

Proistemi Project is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in Honduras by supporting families, communities, and organizations in need. Through financial support, hands-on efforts, and strong local partnerships, we strive to provide long-term, sustainable solutions while addressing immediate needs.

During our most recent visit, we had the privilege of bringing our first Youth Ambassador, whose dedication and fundraising efforts made her the highest individual donor over the past year. She formed special connections with the youth ministry in Parroquia Sagrado Corazon and the young female entrepreneurs who have expanded their businesses by involving their daughters.

As part of our ongoing commitment, we distributed the monthly food baskets—a year-round effort that helps provide essentials to families in need.

We also visited Casa Zulema, where we spent time with its fearless leader, Miss Laura. Our continued financial support has helped bring new medical equipment to the facility, expanding healthcare access to residents and the surrounding community. We are grateful for the tireless work of Miss Laura, Father Juan, and their community in Tegucigalpa, ensuring that every dollar raised in the U.S. is put to maximum use.

Our Latest Mission: March 2024

Annual Visits: 2017-2020

Since 2017, members of the Proistemi Project team have traveled to Honduras to deepen our understanding of ongoing initiatives and explore new opportunities for impact. Our approach is twofold: meeting urgent needs while working toward long-term, sustainable solutions

Sustainable Solutions: Gardens and Clean Water

In partnership with the Catholic diocese of Panoquca Santo Domingo Salvio in Honduras' capital, we've initiated a square foot garden program, helping families in impoverished neighborhoods grow their food sustainably. We are also addressing the critical need for potable water — including collection, purification, and summer storage solutions.

Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Tegucigalpa

We're actively partnering with women entrepreneurs, dedicated to enhancing the growth, profitability, and investment potential of their businesses. Our collaborative efforts aim to create a thriving ecosystem that empowers these inspiring women and strengthens their businesses.

Casa Zulema Assistance

Proistemi Project also extends a helping hand to Casa Zulema, a haven for those afflicted by AIDS. Our support reaches out to both victims of AIDS and their family members, offering vital resources, shelter, and compassionate care.
